Hi Sue Bishop! Great Question! Trout Street will only allow Service Dogs only. Tags/Harness and or Vest must be worn by Dog. Keep you card handy, they may ask to see it.
I went with 2 granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters who were 4 and 5..everybody loves the good ..great menu...and not as expensive as I thought it would be.
I'm not sure. It may be best to call them and ask.
Yes you can, it's the boat slip closest to the marina gate, by the patio back entrance. We only have the one slip.
Yes
No idea. Not anytime in the next couple months at the very least.
No. It is not open yet.
Well it wasn't as good as it has been for some reason. The food was acceptable ..not the best that I have had here. It was presented fine but was ok.The atmosphere was upper level but the service was sub par. Maybe because it was a mid week dinner.
We only had a blue Hawaiian, a pina colada with an extra shot and the scallop entree, but the cocktails were great, but needed the extra booze. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and the balance of the dish was spot on, after a little salt and pepper to taste. Servers seemed attentive, several servers touched our table to help keep waters filled and dishes from sitting empty, so no complaints there. We would come back to try other things on the menu for sure.
The food is a little overpriced but the place makes it up. The restaurant is super clean and very pretty inside. It’s outside area is right on the water. You’ll get an awesome view. We got the house salad and chicken fried steak. Both were very delicious. There is a random service fee of $1.37 (aprox).
Calamari was rubbery and my fish was cold. Waitress was pleasant. Evening meals might be better but probably wont go back.
Food was very good! Good service too!
No crab legs, but the other dishes were great. Very accommodating, made special dish for picking child. Service was great. View was fantastic.
The foods great and I hear they had an amazing carpenter come through after Hurricane Harvey to put the place back together 😏
This place is amazing. I am a very picky eater and never seem to find things that I like... but this place was just right for me. I ordered the chicken club for lunch - it was to die for. The pasta salad is GREAT and I cannot commend their cooking skills more. The chicken had great flavor and it was so moist. The avocado was FRESH and tasty, that always matters to me. They have a wonderful (alcoholic) drink selection, a great view (if you choose to sit outside) and good wait staff. I highly recommend this place.
Good food great atmosphere amazing view
There are no words to describe how amazing they are on service, food, and entertainment. The night went by fast because they are probably the fast crew ever. The waiter/waitress was the bomb dot com. The owner’s wife was amazing for helping around the place and my family had the most fun we have had during our vacation. Which is pretty rare!!!
Nice clean restaurant right on the water with a beautiful Marina. Too bad they are not proud enough of their food to sell it. We asked the waitress for a description of a menu item and she had no idea what to say. So we asked her if she could find someone who could describe it. Out came the chef. Yay! Good service! But he wasn't proud enough of any of the food to lead us into what to eat. And no wonder. I ended up ordering his house made chicken fry steak. It was served hot. Very hot. Thank you for that. I wish you would have seasoned the meat before you breaded it. Maybe taste the gravy and mash before you serve. Seasoning could make so much difference. I really think a great manager and daily wait staff meetings would greatly improve this restaurant. Taste everything. Learn how to describe what you taste and then sell it. Take my advice. You're welcome. My rating is really 2½ stars.
Wow! Totally impressed with every aspect of this place! Food was excellent! A little pricey but worth it for sure.
Great food and good service. Reasonable wine prices too.Like the changes since Harvey.
Love the patio view, the salads and soups. My children love the kids menu, especially the Cheeseburger and fried shrimp.
Bar tender was extremely rude, left before we could order anything. This is a service rating only.
Great views and food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are on the higher side. Great location right on the marina.
Our server Cassie was excellent. The food was pretty good.
The shrimp tacos, calamari and french fries are so good. Loved being served by Ashton, she was very sweet and personable.
Just stopped in for a couple drinks. Nicer "upscale" yet casual place. Service was excellent (Jazmin) and the prices weren't too bad.
If you're in the neighborhood, drop by Trout St Bar and Grill. I was eating lite that day having but a very nice gumbo and a Coke, so I was primarily there for the atmosphere which I and my cohort enjoyed greatly conversing while overlooking the waterfront. Mid afternoon, the joint was mildly quiet, encouraging us to hangout and chat the afternoon away. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Overall a fine place grab a beer and a bite and chill with friends.
Service was slow. Food was good but it was chicken....when I ordered fish.
Most horrible experience ever there!!! After finishing dinner and waiting over half an hour for my check and a togo box i finally went to the bar to get my check. I paid in full, turned around and a busser stacked my plate with my food and other plates from another table and was walking off with it. I explained i wasnt done and was waiting for a togo box. He said he would go get a manager to take care of me. The manager, "Martin" comes and says since i already paid there is nothing he could do. I told him i didnt want money, just my food replaced. He said no and told me to leave. $43+ big tip and got nothing in return but able to eat half a plate of food. Ridiculous!! Worst customer service i have ever experienced.
Very clean and a good vibe atmosphere. We ate inside due to the heat but the outside porch deck overlooks the inner fishing port. Limited menu due to covid and they actually didn't have any horse radish sauce for our shrimp so that was pretty weird for a seafood restaurant but overall a pleasant experience.
It was absolutely delicious 😋 I haven’t been here in years and it was amazing.
This place was absolutely AMAZING! We all got something different and everything was tasty!!
Decent to good depending on what you order. But haven't found better in Port A
Had lunch w /a friend today for B-Day, service was awesome Jennifer our waitresses was great, she had a group of employees sing "happy birthday" to me, food was great, pricing wasn't bad,, and "yes, free dessert for the birthday boy aka me; we will be back
Scenery is nice..food was not so hot for the hot price you pay..
Great place to eat. We ate outside on the patio I definitely recommend the snapper meal recommended by our waiter Daniel delicious,
The food was amazing. Our waiter was wonderful. Absolutely the best place to eat!
So good. Was seated before they estimated
Good food and service. The lunch specials are very reasonable and a good sized portions. We had the liver and onions. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy. Very tasty and done right! The clan chowder is also a good choice. This place has indoor and outdoor seating with great views of the water. Would definitely recommend.
Great place for a weekend getaway and great atmosphere. Chip the chef downstairs prepared a great meal for us and highly recommend him for your stay.
Beautiful restaurant. We saw the sunset and had dinner. The food was amazing along with the wait service. The cocktails were crafted to perfection. Great service all around. I recommend outdoor seating over looking the marine for the best table in the house.
I got a grilled shrimp plate for $25! The 5 bacon wrapped shrimp were burned black on the outside and raw inside! A tablespoon of rice and a few green beans! Seriously?? $25 a plate??
Excellent food and service! Love how bright and open it is with a view to the marina and water =)
Great hot food and polite courteous staff!
When I walked in there were 5 female employees standing at the counter talking none of them said a word to me. When I finally spoke with someone (#6) I was told 1 hr wait. We waited almost 2 hours just to be seated. The server was WONDERFUL. It took over an hour for our food to arrive. The grilled chicken was overcooked, and everything on the plate was cold including the baked potato. (2 orders like this) CFS was horrific the 'steak' was gray! Mashed potatoes were inedible. The restaurant was not worth the wait or the amount of the bill. Very disappointing.
The food was absolutely amazing! My husband had the snapper and of course I had to try a piece of it is worth every penny! The waiter told us the bread pudding was awesome so we had to try it and it did not disappoint. I can’t remember our waiters name but he was wonderful and so funny.
Well it’s been about 8 Yrs since I had been here and it’s NOT THE SAME. Disappointed. Be more than 8 yrs before I come back. This will be taken off my places to eat
Good food and drink. Full bar to wet the whistle during Covid. Shrimp sampler for those that have trouble making up their mind.
Margaritas are full of syrup and barely any alcohol. The $17 poboy was OK, not great. The shrimp were good, but I've never had cocktail sauce that tastes like sweet and sour sauce before. Of we ever come back I'll get the fries and a beer - that's gotta be safe, right?
Great view of the water and the food is the best on the island. On my visit I had the crab cake sandwich and it was definitely better than what I first imagined. Great service and I would definitely recommend stopping by this restaurant.
Prices were a little high and food was ok!
At first glance the menu seemed restricted to fish shrimp and chicken. After receiving multiple beautifully crafted entrees with my family and even changing my perception on flavor contrasts. Best restaurant I have found in Port Aransas guaranteed.
In a nutshell:Really Bad: COVID prepardnessReally Good: the foodAverage/Poor: Service No QR code for menu, only half the staff was wearing masks, still let people use the bar for walk up service, wasn’t instructing guests to wear masks or social distance (for instance, people waiting for a table at the entrance in a small entry area without masks), hostess wasn’t wearing a mask, and I could go on. However, the food was good - we really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo and redfish which is the only reason they are getting 3 stars. From a service perspective, they told us 45 min - an hour to get a table and it only took 10-15 minutes. Which, fantastic, we got a table fast BUT how can you be THAT off. We only ordered entrees and it took about 45 minutes. Our waiter was nice but very overwhelmed. All in all, food was good - but really not sure this place should be operating during COVID.
Good food and very nice service. Love the view.
As great a place as before Harvey. Good (sea)food, but less an extensive menu as at our previous visits.
Long wait for outdoor seating. Great food!
Good service. Great food such as the coconut coated fried shrimp with the honey mustard sauce that is simply out-of-this-world delicious and their brownie/ice cream dessert is unforgettable!! Everything is reasonably priced and a great dining atmosphere as well.
